How do I send you documents securely?

Through our client portal — never email. The portal encrypts your documents, builds your checklist automatically each tax season, and works from a phone camera as easily as a scanner. Sensitive data like Social Security numbers is stored encrypted.

Where are you located, and do I need to come in?

570 Taxter Road, Suite 349, Elmsford, NY 10523 — office hours Monday to Friday 9:00–5:00, extended during tax season. Many clients never need to visit: the portal, phone, and video cover most engagements, and clients who move away routinely stay with us.

I got a letter from the IRS or New York State. What should I do?

Don't panic and don't ignore it — most notices have a response deadline and most resolve with a well-documented reply. Send us a copy through the portal (or bring it in) before you respond or pay anything; notices are frequently wrong, and paying an incorrect one is hard to undo.

I haven't filed in a few years. Can you help?

Yes, and it's more common than you think. We reconstruct records, file the back years, and negotiate payment arrangements when there's a balance due. Voluntarily catching up almost always ends better than waiting for the IRS to notice first.

Should I file an extension?

An extension gives you six more months to file, not to pay — tax owed is still due in April, so we estimate and pay with the extension to avoid penalties. Filing a complete, accurate return in October beats rushing an error in April.
